  8. INFORMATION:   We have recently gotten to the bottom of a rather perplexing
  9. problem with a customer running SFT 2.15 on a Compaq 386 machine.  Their
  10. directory entries were being gobbled up immediately after increasing them.
  11.  
  12.                It turned out that their Maynard Tape Backup software v3.0
  13. would double the directory entries on all the volumes with any MAC files
  14. when accessing them and tried to back them up. Maynard is working on a fix
  15. now for a later version.
